What do you see?

You are looking at Harvest. It is a work of art that was installed outside the Frederick R. Weisman Art Museum at the University of Minnesota. Harvest is made up of three parts. The first part is a corncrib filled with books. A corncrib is used by farmers out in the fields to store ears of corn. The word cultivate is painted in yellow on a concrete wall under the corncrib. A small cornfield is at the bottom of the wall. Harvest is a public work of art.
